Medic wellbeing group grows over Summer 2017

The summer of 2017 has been an exciting time for the project, with a new PhD student joining the team (Aisha Al-Sulaiti) and a Masters student (Malavika Subramanian) doing her thesis on a closely related topic.  Caoimhe Ryan continues as our postdoctoral research fellow.

Malavika’s Masters thesis has explored the core issues of the link between identity and different types and experiences of stress, but has added an international element by including interviews with Doctors in India, Dubai and Australia, and an expanded range of specialties. She will complete her thesis over the summer.

Having the expanded group has provided many more opportunities for discussion and new insights to the data we have been collecting, and new avenues to explore in the future.
